Seasonal Transition with Ease

$49 as an individual workshop

This first workshop in the “Wellbeing for Seasonal Change” series will include discussion on the significance of the Winter season from a yogic perspective. The science of Ayurveda will be lightly discussed as a method for learning more about our own internal rhythms and cycles, and how to best live in harmony with the natural world.

Practices will include breathing techniques that promote mindfulness in the present moment, and its application for managing stress, depression, and anxiety. Gentle movements will be explored for body awareness and posture as we move through the colder months. Activities that are quieter and more introspective, such as coloring, reading, or journaling, will be discussed for receiving the most from your Winter season.

Renee Zambo, RYT is WholeHealth Chicago’s Yoga Therapist and specializes in using all aspects of yoga to teach patients self-care tools for a variety of health related concerns. Renee encourages her student to trust their own intuition and provides education to support each person’s unique journey toward healing and wholeness
